Welcome to my website.
I have been a professional photographer for over 25 years. I started my career working with international photographers in studio and location photography in London and Paris. During this time I travelled extensively working worldwide on fashion, portrait and reportage assignments in both editorial, brochure and advertising formats.
In the mid 90’s I travelled to Brazil and photographed the Caraja Indian tribes of the River Araguaia which began a life long passion for photographing people and gained me my first photographic commission from GQ Magazine.
A weekly portrait page in the Saturday Telegraph Magazine followed and I became a regular contributor to the Arts and Books pages of The Daily Telegraph photographing celebrity actors, authors and musicians. I also became a regular contributor to the Sunday Independent Review and the Condé Traveller magazine and since then my work has appeared in numerous publications in both business and arts sectors.
In my quiet time I enjoy taking landscape shots and street photographs, some of which you will see here on my site.
I have lived in London for over 20 years and have two sons.
Please feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions.
I have frequently assigned Darren for editorial portrait and reportage/lifestyle photography. Apart from being a terrific photographer he is the most positive person I have ever worked with. He has impeccable manners and is a great communicator; a true " people person" who gets along with the most tricky of subjects. Darren has always come back with excellent and creative results that without fail has fitted the brief. He's never let me down, and after 35+ years in this business that's quite something.
